My more and more jeans keep hinting me, it’s time for me to restart my JL Diet.
Some long long story(5 months ago), I started a new diet method that recommended from my colleague Justin, after 3 months, i lost 7 KG, yes 7KG in 3 months, I have forced to keep my lovely too-loose-LEVIS jeans in the cabinet and take out all those old jeans..but after that, for some reason I stopped the diet, see what happeended after 2 month of big eat big drink? i gain back 5KG…
My tummy is back..my swim rim is equipped again…
Time for me to start again, today is the first day!!
So, what is JL Diet?
JL Diet named by me, because it is created by Justin Loo.
The concept is quite similar with Atkins, by reduce taking of carbohydrate, sugar with proper instructions, this will switch the body’s metabolism from burning glucose as fuel to burning stored body fat.
JL Diet is not a new diet concept, it is more like a recommended practice of diet.
So, how to do it?
There are 3 rules in JL Diet,
Take proper meal, 3 meals per day.
No snacks, sweets or fruit.
Drink more water.
Dont understand? isn’t that eat more fruit is good for reducing body weight? not actually, fruits give you extra sugars that your body do not need it, so they will keep in your store room, which is part of the fats in our tummy.
Insufficient of carbohydrate in your body also means less water, so you need to drink more water, plain water will do the job, or you may have bad breathing problem. :p
After 3 rules, there are 3 instruction for each of your meal,
Dinner, eat anything other than high carbohydrate foods, no rice, fries, all kinds of potato, or flour made food, you can take lettuce with tuna, roasted chicken, ham..as long as with vegetables.
Lunch, eat whatever you like, no rules.
Breakfast, you can either do as lunch, or dinner, depends on your feel whether you want a faster effect diet or slow yet steady diet. For me, I do for breakfast with 2 boiled egg and coffee without sugar or milk.
Dont sounds very difficult right? there is some more bonus.
You are only required to do this for weekdays only, weekend and public holiday are exempted from doing this.
Close your mouth, yes I am serious, of course it doesn’t means you have to eat all the way for your off-work days, but we understand that is too difficult for non-working days to control our meal, so exception in off-work day can be a strong reason for you to insist your diet in working days.
That is all for JL Diet, you may also want to get a body weight scale for your daily record, the good diet effect can be a very strong motive for you to continue with it.
Chinese New Year ahead, and the CNY sesson always a fattening season., hope this can at least reserve some buffer for this… :p
